Pay: From $ 16.58 per hour


Bonus pay:

  • $2 shift differential
  • Quarterly Return on Net Assets (RONA)

    Schedule and Location:
  • This position is typically an 8-hour shift from 2 p.m. - 10:30p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Flexible overtime schedule when voluntary or required
  • Work Location: 4700 Lone Star Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76106
  • Environmentally controlled 70 work environment 365 days a year!

How you'll perform the role

  • Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Chemical handling and mixing with understandings of ratios and percentages by following mix sheets.
  • Demonstrates understanding of shear sensitive resin, different grades of resin and lubricants
  • Coordinate blended material required to meet the needs of the production schedule
  • Transfer mixes to the hot room to prepare for extrusion
  • Retrieve materials from storage
  • Follow standard work instructions
  • Maintain production logs, make labels for completed mixes, and enter all mixes into WW3.
  • Wash buckets on a rotating basis
  • Identify non-conformities relating to product, process, and the quality system
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices
  • Know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines
  • Report production issues to Value Stream Team Leader
  • Perform work of an equal or lower classification
  • High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent residency status required
  • Basic understanding of lean fundamentals preferred
  • Read work orders & specifications
  • Must be competent in basic mathematical skills
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and precision work such as weighing batches
  • Must be able to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands
  • Must be able to work and communicate with peers
  • Physical & PPE Requirements:
  • Standing, carrying, shaking, pushing, bending, balancing, lifting (up to 55 lbs.) repetitively, walking, and squatting.
  • Employee would be working in confined or small area alone and under very cold conditions, approx. 50 degres (F) with as low as 27% humidity.
  • Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and ear plugs (85-90 dB) are all required when working in the mfg plant.
  • Shoe covers, coveralls, and gloves required when working in the cold room.
  • All PPE provided by Company.
