We are seeking an innovative Growth Leader in the exciting realm of Healthcare Technology! Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the national sales efforts of our Availity Clinical Solutions suite of products. This role requires a unique blend of technical prowess and consultative sales acumen, ensuring health insurance companies across the US fully grasp the capabilities and benefits of clinical data and the value our solutions provide. The ideal candidate will be a sales leader, embodying a tenacious approach to winning while also excelling in technical and strategic competencies and consultation with a passion for and depth of expertise in the application of clinical data within health plans.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Science.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B sales within the Healthcare Technology industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Familiarity with health insurance plan business lines, functional areas and data use cases.
  • Proficiency in clinical data processing and its challenges.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, especially regarding new product features and market needs.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and industry events.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools and software for sales tracking and reporting.

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Sales and/or Consulting experience with complex clinical solutions
  • Strong understanding of clinical standards such as C-CDA, HL7v2, and FHIR
  • Well versed in working with payers and strong understanding of CMS

You will be:

  • Discussing clinical data standards (e.g., C-CDA, HL7v2, FHIR) and API processing with potential customers.
  • Relaying your deep understanding of targeted payer use cases, shaping discussions around clinical data's application in value-based care, care management, risk adjustment, and quality measurement.
  • Translating complex technical jargon into comprehensible language for non-technical audiences while maintaining credibility with technical stakeholders.
  • Leading and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations of Availity clinical solutions to potential clients, independently or alongside the sales team.
  • Incorporating ROI model discussions during consultations with prospects, showcasing the tangible value our solutions provide.
  • Working collaboratively with clinical solution engineers and data architects to draft solution designs and data flow diagrams based on Availity Fusion solutions integrated into client architecture.
  • Serving as the strategic and technical subject matter expert during sales engagements, excelling in various capacities as required by the situation and adjusting conversations dynamically to meet prospect expectations.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, and delivery teams, providing both technical and product subject matter expertise to the commercial and client services teams.
  • Recognizing and seizing new market segment opportunities by tailoring an understanding of product capabilities.
  • Working closely with a product data insights team to lead pilot engagements, processing subsets of client data, and presenting detailed analyses relevant to client use-cases.
  • Advising and guiding clients and partners on software solutions, integration concepts, and delivery techniques.
  • Managing objections adeptly, providing swift and clear answers, and handling challenges persuasively.
  • Multi-tasking effectively, managing diverse assignments and administrative tasks concurrently.
