JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions and improve overall performance. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Power BI and the ability to work independently with little supervision is required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models to support Power BI reporting and analysis.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create metrics to measure and monitor business performance.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis using Power BI to derive actionable insights for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
• Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (3 years) as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role with expertise in Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, and additional experience with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, AWS/GCP/Azure data services) is highly desirable.
• Additional experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Python) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable data solutions tailored to specific business processes or industry needs.
• Familiarity with business processes in Supply chain operations.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Approximately 10% domestic/international travel required.
