What we're seeking:

Frontier Communications is seeking IT Architect - Digital Technology to champion technologies, and be part of the team that is building the solutions for tomorrow's digital platform. This role will define and drive best practices for the team, and tackle the complex development and implementation work. You will be engaged in the entire software development lifecycle from requirements to design to implementation to ownership of how we build. You will be helping make an impact by creating the next generation of new and improved functionality in our digital environment to provide our customers with the online experience they deserve. In this hybrid role, you will have a defined work location HUB which includes work from home and assigned days in the office set by your manager. The HUB for this role will be 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX.

What we need in you:

We need an Architect located in the Dallas, TX area with experience building front-end mobile applications that can also architect solutions for multiple digital capabilities. Your experience with React Native, Cloud Architecture (AWS), and ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and generate buy-in will be deciding factors for this opportunity.

What you'll do:

  • Build, maintain and enhance mobile app platform and improve digital footprint
  • Engage and collaborate with business and other IT stakeholders to drive digital adoption, increase self-serve capabilities, and drive call deflection
  • Provide recommendations and implement solutions to improve the scalability, quality, performance, and availability of the platform
  • Define, maintain, and constantly evolve technology architectures
  • Proactively manage a complex mixture of internal resources and external partners to achieve both best-in-class technology solutions while achieving speed to market
  • Drive operational excellence throughout the organization and partners including processes, governance, efficient working approaches, collaboration
  • Ensure positive trends in key performance indicators
  • Partner with PMO and product teams for on-time delivery of solutions, proactive risk mitigation, and business impact during the transformation

Salary Range: 80k -168K

  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year

What background you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of technology experience, with at least 7-10 years of experience leading and managing software engineering in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • 5+ years of delivery experience with full stack software technologies such as JavaScript, React, or other JavaScript frameworks, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with leading native apps teams with technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, and React Native
  • Experience leading large-scale global multiple technology teams and program planning
  • Demonstrated experience with technology simplification and rationalization of monolith application rationalization in an agile environment
  • Experience in executive communication, relationship building, decision-making, and stakeholder management
  • Prior experience in a retail high-volume E-Commerce environment is preferred
