We have an excellent opportunity for a Profit Center Manager to manage the day-to-day operations in our Dallas and Houston offices. This position is expected to be hybrid remote with two to three days in the Lewisville office.

What you will do:

The Profit Center Manager will drive operational excellence to meet planned financial and new order goals established for the year.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage resources, projects, and work with clients to ensure quality of work products.
  • Participate in cross-profit center and business unit collaboration.
  • Provide overall management of staff assigned to the profit center and leadership on hiring decisions.
  • Manage and lead technical staff and teams of technical staff.
  • Lead proposal preparation, and prepare cost estimates and bids.
  • Evaluate new business leadership within EA structure.
  • Staff development and technical performance of the profit center.
  • Work collaboratively with other profit center managers within the central business unit at the direction of the business unit director (BUD).
  • Prepare annual financial and new orders plans.
  • Participate in decisions to evaluate new business opportunities.
  • Monitor project reviews and stay in tune with project needs and demands.
  • Assist EA execute the company strategy and support our core values and initiatives.

What you will need:

  • B.S. degree in science or engineering or related field, M.S. preferred.
  • 10 years' or more of related professional experience.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading technical staff and teams of technical staff, working with staff from other offices and business units.
