Qualifications - External

The Global Quality Director function operates robust processes and tools, across regions and IT systems, to deliver best in class Quality service levels required across all product ranges.

This role will be focused on defining the Global Quality process and tools needed for compliance, whilst driving innovation across Quality Function to deliver effective and efficient performance, including setting and implementing the training and compliance standard for the Function.

As a member of the Senior Quality Leadership Team, the Director is responsible for representing Incora in customer quality plan and service negotiations by successfully communicating and proving Incora's strong commitment to understanding the customer's requirements and by continuously fulfilling our Quality commitments accurately and on time, thereby building and maintaining strong customer relationships and confidence.

You will need to

  • Global accountability for defining the Quality Function process and tools needed to drive functional improvements to Quality team effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Establishing the operational Quality framework to drive management review and Best in Class Performance
  • Create a comprehensive capacity, planning analysis tool to drive target resource level and to own and monitor Group level remedial actions.
  • Review existing Quality policies and procedures and implement changes that brings about convergence across the company and enables efficient global delivery of services to customers and delivers value to Incora.
  • To establish and lead a group wide governance program to drive process compliance and best practice deployment, within Quality Function owned processes.
  • To create technology road map for Quality Function (e.g. inspection, system, AI/data technologies)
  • Participation in improvement activities at department / company level to enhance business performance.
  • Responsible for working with quality leadership to ensure that the business maturity strategies and the zero-defect programs are systematically improved implemented within Quality.
  • Serve as key customer advocate, ensuring the organization considers how best to work to meet/exceed customer expectations and improved measurable performance from the customers perspective.
  • What will you also need?

* Coordinate, Lead and participate in multiple projects across the business units and regions to support Quality Function in achieving its performance / improvement targets

  • Define critical processes and enhance the customer experience utilizing CI/six sigma or other lean tools
  • Participates in execution of operational plans in support of policy deployment goals and initiatives for the organization
  • Support training program to assure function processes are trained to and effective.
  • Supports and Contributes to the improvement of Quality metrics and ensuring annual targets are met including event/project closure results being achieved
  • Coordinates projects/transformations/kaizen events with groups internal and external to the program.
  • Actively participates/leads in resolution of difficult or complex problems
  • Coaching and training individuals and teams within the business on their ZD and CI maturity
  • Participates in identifying and sharing best practices across the organization
  • Identifies knowledge gaps within the team and supports closure plan
  • Builds networks across the organization and disciplines
  • Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.

Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.

Qualifications

About you
4 Year Level Degree in relevant field

Extensive continuous Improvement experience operating across multiple locations

Experience of working within the Aerospace industry or related logistics field

Detailed technical knowledge on quality as well as across several functions, considered a subject matter expert in quality, and a very high degree of cross-functional business process knowledge required
