Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join them. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule at our business unit, Genesys AeroSystems, located in Mineral Wells, TX. Genesys AeroSystems delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.

To be considered for Manufacturing Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering or related engineering degree.
  • 1-3 years' experience in commercial or military aviation electronics. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies in the factory and their impact on production methods.
  • Design tooling, fabrication aids, jigs and fixtures for assembly.
  • Assist manufacturing management on such items as interchangeability, accountability, tool policy, manufacturing plan, manufacturing test plan, process control and documentation.
  • Develop method and operation sequences for fabrication and assembly.
  • Review and coordinate the documentation of manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Assist in the development of assembly guides, procedures and illustrations.
  • Investigate manufacturing problems that are encountered during the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
  • Provide technical alternatives for and coordinate the solution with others on problems with tooling, inspection, engineering, material and manufacturing.
  • May be required to assist in the development of software and instructions for automated equipment.
  • Review new designs and recommend modifications to optimize productivity and producibility.
  • Verify bills of material.

Salary Range: The base pay range for this opportunity is $60,736 - $90,480 per year.

Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
