JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Digital Solutions Engineer to join our Oil and Gas Solutions team. As a Digital Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing innovative digital solutions that address diverse business challenges. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will engineer robust digital applications, ensuring seamless integration with evolving technologies and business objectives.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into innovative digital solutions and architectures.
  • Design and implement digital solutions customized for specific customer needs, ensuring alignment with company goals and digital transformation strategies
  • Work with technical stakeholders to facilitate the development of digital solutions by providing detailed business requirement documents, process flows, and other documentation to articulate business needs and solution requirements
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and effective solution delivery.
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
  • Oversee solutions development, including but not limited to - IT architecture design, application programming, and data engineering.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) testing to ensure that theory/prototype is executable and can easily be adapted by potential users.
  • Support testing, validation, and verification of implemented solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Support users on the adoption of new digital tools including but not limited to - training of users, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Provide technical overview and project status updates to internal stakeholders, and/or customers as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES [education, certification, experience, general skills)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (3 years) as a Digital Solutions Engineer, Digital Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, requirement gathering techniques, and documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of mobile application development principles (iOS, Android)
  • Familiarity with process modeling techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering concepts.
  • Oil and Gas industry experience would be preferable

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Approximately 15% domestic/international travel required.
