Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the Revenue Management Team, the individual will play a key role in ensuring that the Business Aviation, Helicopter Aviation and Maintenance training businesses possess the strategic insight and data they need to reach its goals and measure performance along the way. The incumbent will act as a key consultant for the regional sales leads and as a conduit between sales and operations to optimize revenues, maximize simulator utilisation, and support with enhancing business practices.

The individual will work with business leaders throughout sales and operations across all levels of the organization to identify strategic priorities, revenue opportunities, and develop scalable and actionable solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

Forecasting, sales analytics, and communicating business updates to leaders.

This person will routinely present insights & recommendations to management via reports, dashboards, and presentations and will also play a key role in business strategy discussions.

Lead regional forecasting and process:

  • Lead demand sessions to identify demand signal opportunities or emerging risks.
  • Match supply and demand and coordinate with respective business partners to maximize simulator capacity & utilization while increasing revenue forecasts.
  • Publish and present business review forecast monthly.
  • Lead regional annual planning process and support its continuous enhancement.

Support business analytics:

  • Source market data, analyze market trends, build, and maintain models to analyze and forecast revenues based on macro trends.
  • Provide insights into opportunities to grow market share and addressable market.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and present as needed to support discussions and decisions.
  • Concatenate hypothesis around innovations, pricing, discount management, simulator downtimes and sales initiatives to generate assumption-based forecasts while ensuring final figures reflect regional full potential.

Seek, recommend, lead renewals on business practices:

  • Seek improvements to Sales ways of working, including dashboards efficiency, meeting flow and structures, communication etc.
  • Support the Sales Practitioner with identifying areas of improvements for the Sales Team leading to new business practices around daily routines and class reservations resulting in better simulator utilisation, instructor schedules, customer service and business forecasts/revenues.
  • Work with AI business partners for bringing insights leading to developing enhanced forward revenue projections.
