Job Description

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology, is seeking a faculty member specializing in the treatment and care of patients with Myeloma. This position will cover patients in Clements University Hospital by participating in the consult service and will see patients in the Simmons Cancer Center outpatient clinic. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school, and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure, be board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified/eligible in Hematology Oncology. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. It is expected that the candidate will also participate in clinical patient care and the teaching and training of medical students, house staff and fellows.
